Occupational Highway

Even though I already have their link on the sidebar :), I still hafta give props to Occupational Highway! Ok, ok, some of you may be thinking, "but this is competition to her blog!"... well, my main goal here is to help people find free and legit work at home opportunities, and if that means giving up a link to another site, that's what I'll do! lol

I've been working at home for about ten years... since my youngest was little bitty, and I tried putting him in daycare for a few weeks, 'cause I had a killer paying job, "out in the real world"... he got soooo sick, and I was determined, I just couldn't do it anymore! I would do whatever it took to stay at home with my son!

I started out doing a few surveys, and research, research, and more research! I worked for a few psychic lines (ok, I did say I was determined, right?! lol), in addition to my surveys, and kept researching. I ended up landing a job at a security company, where I was able to take him to work, so I did that 'til he got too rambuncous (sp?) in the office, and I ended up getting hurt really badly, to the point that I wasn't able to work outside the home anymore.

ANYWAY... I know this post is supposed to be about Occupational Highway, and it is, but figured it was a good chance to give you some background on ME at the same time! lol

I wish, at the time, I had found a site like Occupational Highway! Over the years, I have managed to survive, doing jobs here and there online, and kept researching, but never found a site as comprehensive as Occupational Highway. It would've made my life a lot easier! lol

Soooo.... while I'll keep posting the latest work at home opps here, you should also check out their site... there is so much listed, in so many different categories, and even a forum, where everyone can contribute.

Just a hot tip from a Mom determined to stay at home! lol

  1. Alicia,
Thank you so much for making such a great post about our website! This is our purpose for Occupational Highway! We WANT to help others find work they can do from home because we were in that situation too! We work hard to find the resources for you so you can look in one location and find what you need and so you don't have to dig for days online to find something and then wonder if it's legitimate. We work hard to do our best in screening our job listings to ensure they are legitimate.
    Thanks! You're the best!

  2. Hi Alica,

Like you, I had a great job and found that I could no longer continue with working outside the home. That is how Occupational Highway began too. Thanks for the great post and I LOVE YOUR blog. I know your son must love having his mommy at home with him too! Together, we can help others find "real work at home jobs".
    You are awesome,

  3. I'm impressed Alicia!!! It sounds like you have paid your dues in the "Work At Home" Industry. There are so many scams out there. Its great to have places that you can go to find legit work at home jobs! Your honesty and integrity says a lot about your character. Thank you for the tip. And since you endorse Occupational Highway, they must be alright! I will be visiting both sites in the future.
Keep up the fantastic job. You're helping everyone you come in contact with! And I thank you for everything.
