"How Do I Get Paid as an Ellis Certified 'Mystery Shopper'?"
Ellis certified shoppers are independent contractors, and therefore, no taxes are withheld from your check. You are paid contract fees, and you will be required to complete a W-9 form. For each apartment shopping report you complete within the specifications, you will be paid a flat fee. Ellis certified shoppers are paid twice a month.Shopper Resources

A Mystery Shopper goes into establishments and poses as a regular customer. While there they may make a purchase, ask questions or make a return.
